Kaisercraft challenge folded paper, I tried something new with this layout, I made the background with little pieces of folded paper, I’m pleased with the results, I will try it again, it was a bit time consuming, especially when I actually had to use a ruler for placement, something I never do!

Here is my take on the mood board, I used a pic of two of my daughters, I used the colours and the shutters as my inspiration from the mood board.

Here is the mood board for October, I choose a pic of hubby and I , at our eldest daughters wedding, I look like I have drunk way to much! But don’t even drink! The colours in my scrapbook page look far more pink then they really are.

Kaisercraft- October challenge

This is a first for me, a Kaisercraft challenge, it was a sketch challenge, I used a pic of my granddaughter on Christmas Day 2008.

For the month of October the “white +1” challenge is citrus combo, I used a pic of my grandson on a boat ride. I used some mixed media a strips of yellow papers.

This months challenge is a sketch, here is my take on it, using cute pics of my grandson on his first holiday.

123 scrapbook challenge- October

For the month of October on the 123 challenge blog, they have a sketch, 2 words- have strength, and 3 colours. I used photos of my first grandson when he was first born, I didn’t use the words on my page , but the words “have strength “ certainly relate to his mum whilst she was giving birth to him as he weighed 10 pounds 4 ounces.

This months challenge is to follow the sketch and use cogs, I used special photos of my husbands father, with the last great grandchild he got to cuddle.
