“Scrap the boys” challenge

I find boy pages really difficult, no flowers or doilys! But anyway I managed to make a page with my grandson to enter the challenge at scrap the boys blog.
The prompt for this month was road trip-adventure, as he lives in the country, a trip to the beach is always an adventure!

123 challenge-july

This months challenge at 123 challenge was a hard one for me, firstly a sketch with a grid design, I don’t do grids! Secondly a title, I don’t do titles, and the colour palette was hard as well, but I managed to add some layers and a doily with some sewing to make it feel more like a page I would make.

I love the colours and my recycled piece is the page torn from a book, behind the main photo of my younger daughter and her niece.

Another page compleated today, this time for sketchy boards challenge, a sketch to follow this time, I love the photo of our 3 daughters even though it was taken a few years ago.

Here is my very colourful entry for the July challenge at Kraft+ there were a lot of bright colours on the mood board this month, I challenged myself to enter, as bright colours are not my thing, but how could I go wrong with this adorable photo of my granddaughter with her face painted!

Scrap the girls layout

My first scrapbook layout is for scrap the girls for their July challenge, it is a colour challenge, I used a photo of my granddaughter as a baby wearing a dress and booties that I knitted for her, we couldn’t find any clothes small enough for her.

New name

I have decided to start scrapbooking again after a 12 month break, we moved, we renovated a house that fought as all the way! But we finally finished and I have a room to play with paper in! So a new blog name was needed, so for now it’s Sues paper fun!
